Christopher Lamitie started in the IT industry in 1998 as a first tier ISP help technician and working his way up the ladder from there. He learned a valuable technology lesson early on — to sink or swim regardless how deep or long the pool may be. This survival instinct has taught him to fear no technology, to look in every corner, under every rock for solutions, and, most importantly, not to panic in a crisis. He continues to apply these lessons, over ten years later, as the Chief Technical Officer of Daniels Trading. While managing a network of this size and complexity, he continually monitors, modifies, secures and upgrades Daniels Trading’s systems to provide the maximum availability and fault tolerance for the enterprise.
Daniels Trading has a flexible trading solution for every client and refuses to be locked into any one clearing firm or system. This core philosophy can be found in the technological landscape of the IT department. A wide variety of systems and architectures are employed by Daniels Trading, each system exists on the network, not because it is a particular vendor’s solution, but because it is the right tool for the job. This keeps Daniels Trading on the leading edge of technology, running the most efficient systems to capitalize on the speed of the markets.
