Kirk Donsbach Kirk Donsbach was born and raised in production agriculture. He graduated From Rocky Mountain College in 1998 and worked as a Project Manager and Electrical Designer for Foxboro and Duke Energy retrofitting Digital Control Systems into aging Power Plants. His desire was always to return to the family operation in Montana and raise a family in a rural setting. Seeing the need to protect the family’s main income source, he started hedging their production while still working for Duke Energy. In 2003, Mr. Donsbach returned to the family operation and developed a hedging strategy though 14 years of experience and first hand knowledge. In an effort to assist his fellow producers in risk management, Mr. Donsbach became a Daniels Trading Broker in 2015.

Mr. Donsbach is a sitting board member of the local public school, local state grazing District, local stock growers association, and the Chairman of the Endangered Species Committee for the State Stock Growers Association. Mr. Donsbach continues to manage/operate the family Cow/Calf operation in rural Montana.
