The S&P 500 continued rallying higher today and once again posted a new All-time record high @ 4456.25 for ES futures. This move was supported by yesterday’s better than expected CPI numbers which eased current inflation concerns and this morning’s better than expected jobs report. Not to mention we are still seeing huge growth by many of the largest companies in the US beating their earnings/revenue estimates for Q2.
We are close enough to my target for the day so I went ahead and exited our ES position @ 4455.00 for a 25-point gain (realized profit of $1,250 per contract). Great job to all those who participated in this trade with me!
