Bill began his career in the futures industry in 1987 working for a Guaranteed Introducing Broker (GIB). By drawing off of his experience with this GIB and the issues which confront it in its relationships with both clients and industry providers, Bill joined the Commercial Trading Division of Index Futures Group in 1990. This move introduced him to the finer points of providing value added service and trade execution to the private clients of a major FCM. In 1994, Bill was offered an opportunity to join Merrill Lynch’s Private Client Group to market the firm’s futures related products and services to ML’s Capital Markets clientele. Upon joining the Daniels Division of LFG, LLC as a VP in 1996, Bill returned to the familiar territory of raising the level of service and trade execution for client IB’s, CTAs and select private traders.
Even though Bill’s private clients are all industry professionals, he assists in virtually every aspect of their operations. He plays a central role in guiding clients through DT’s in-house regulatory, accounting, and marketing departments. He also leverages his widespread industry contacts to his client’s benefit by acting as a liaison and advocate with FCMs and outside technology service providers.
