We will be looking to BUY the future and BUY a put option
BUYING at 4.60 on a STOP order (GTC) …last traded 4.58
- Risk will be the 4.45 level …($750.00)
- Objective will be the 5.00 level …$2,000.00
- (short term obj will be the 4.80 level …$1,000.00)
In addition to the LONG futures contract, I will be BUYING a put option
ONCE FILLED, BUY the MARCH 4.50 put option (38 delta) for 10 points ($500.00)
This will give us just over a month of added protection (and possible participation) to the downside if we do not see the bounce we are looking for. This will be in addition to the STOP order
initial margin is $1,650.00 per contract for the future only
initial margin is $950.00 per future and option combo
