For those who subscribe to my Market Dimensions Advisory, we have seen an uptick in activity in both my Market Action Alerts as well as my MDA Snap Shots. I expect to see this continued into 2016 and beyond.
Today I released two Snap Shot ideas. The first idea was in the E-Mini S&P, and the second idea was in the Euro market. Within the Snap Shot, you will see the entry setup and risk zones associated with the trades. These 2 positions were able to capture small gains of +$650 before fees after their entries.
To remind those who may not be familiar, the “MDA Snap Shots” are shorter time frame trading ideas or “snap shots” of a market where I see developing signals for entry. These are designed to assist self-directed traders recognize some of the entries I identify using my trading approach. They can be followed on your own or used as trading educational pieces. Either way, the point is to highlight quick “snap shot” opportunities I often see throughout the day. I typically limit it to once or twice a day, 3-4 times a week.

STOP ORDERS DO NOT NECESSARILY LIMIT YOUR LOSS TO THE STOP PRICE BECAUSE STOP ORDERS, IF THE PRICE IS HIT, BECOME MARKET ORDERS AND, DEPENDING ON MARKET CONDITIONS, THE ACTUAL FILL PRICE CAN BE DIFFERENT FROM THE STOP PRICE. IF A MARKET REACHED ITS DAILY PRICE FLUCTUATION LIMIT, A "LIMIT MOVE", IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE TO EXECUTE A STOP LOSS ORDER.
THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING COMMODITY FUTURES AND OPTIONS CONTRACTS CAN BE SUBSTANTIAL. THERE IS A HIGH DEGREE OF LEVERAGE IN FUTURES TRADING BECAUSE OF SMALL MARGIN REQUIREMENTS. THIS LEVERAGE CAN WORK AGAINST YOU AS WELL AS FOR YOU AND CAN LEAD TO LARGE LOSSES AS WELL AS LARGE GAINS.
