Daniels Trading Senior Broker and author of Turner’s Take newsletter Craig Turner was quoted in the August 20th, 2015 Dow Jones Newswire article titled “US Grain, Soybeans Swing Higher on Crop Outlook, Quality Concerns” by Jesse Newman of the Wall Street Journal.
“There’s not enough deliverable wheat out there,” said Craig Turner, senior broker at Daniels Trading in Chicago, adding that higher wheat prices on Thursday reflect “concerns over a shortage of quality wheat.”
…
“We’re oversold in beans,” said Mr. Turner, adding that the soybean market has dropped about 70 cents since the beginning of the month thanks to beneficial rains. “Now traders are taking a wait-and-see approach,” as crops complete growth prior before the fall harvest.
