Published 6/14/16 – 9:33 am – Short Position Notifications
As outlined this morning, I mentioned bears are taking control and we could look for an initial move higher and we could look to trade between the upside 2075 MAS Weekly TOP and toward the 2053 weekly POC. As we popped higher, we took a position @ the 2072 price level. Leaning on the 2075-2077 zone and previous 30 min Top as discussed. This trade moved in our favor and we have been able to take partial profits and adjust risk.
For those who are just playing the initial levels, we did get a fill @ the 2064.75 sell zone and challenged the lows @ 2060.75. The stop on the original sell zone is @ 2070 area. For those who were filled on this short, we have not made a new low yet, so consider adjusting risk or taking partial profits.
If you are late to the party on these emails or would like to discuss working directly with me I would suggest giving me a call or emailing and we can talk about how we can start putting these levels to work for you and your trading account.
Published 6/13/16 – 9:57am – Partial Profit Taking, Short Position Update
I just wanted to provide a quick update based on my last email.
We were able to trade lower and make new lows. I would recommend we look to take a partial profit @ 2056.75 where we are trading now and look and see if we hit my short objective @ 2053 I mentioned this morning.
Will send a chart out later
Sell Zone @ 2064.75
Last @ 2056.75 +8.00 pts or $400 per contract before fees

STOP ORDERS DO NOT NECESSARILY LIMIT YOUR LOSS TO THE STOP PRICE BECAUSE STOP ORDERS, IF THE PRICE IS HIT, BECOME MARKET ORDERS AND, DEPENDING ON MARKET CONDITIONS, THE ACTUAL FILL PRICE CAN BE DIFFERENT FROM THE STOP PRICE. IF A MARKET REACHED ITS DAILY PRICE FLUCTUATION LIMIT, A "LIMIT MOVE", IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE TO EXECUTE A STOP LOSS ORDER.
THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING COMMODITY FUTURES AND OPTIONS CONTRACTS CAN BE SUBSTANTIAL. THERE IS A HIGH DEGREE OF LEVERAGE IN FUTURES TRADING BECAUSE OF SMALL MARGIN REQUIREMENTS. THIS LEVERAGE CAN WORK AGAINST YOU AS WELL AS FOR YOU AND CAN LEAD TO LARGE LOSSES AS WELL AS LARGE GAINS.
