Published 5/17/16 – 10:09 – Highlighting New trading levels:
Here is a quick SnapShot of the June Crude 30 Min chart. This contract is close to expiring but we are still getting good volume traded on this contract for a day trade or small swing trade opportunity today. Below you will see the Technical Setup on the 30 Min SnapShot Chart. We have been testing both zones. Navigator has flipped negative, so look for a potential breakout sell and to try and break below $47.50 and potentially hit $47. Bulls the same thing, we could break above $48 again and test highs.

5/17/16 – 3:00 pm – Long Position Update
I wanted to send out a quick update on the June Crude SnapShot update I sent out earlier today. With the June contract expiring this week, I would suggest considering taking this position off for a day trade as mentioned earlier today. Going forward SnapShot updates will be looking to the July Contract. Our long entry @ 48.10 was triggered and slowly grinded in our favor. We did get some volatility and some movement against us mid-session but we did not break through the POC level or hit our risk level outlined on the update. We have since traded higher and are trading @ 48.55.
We also saw updates on the S&P market with our Sell zone being triggered. Follow me on twitter to see these updates @MDA_SnapShot
Here is an updated screenshot of the position as well as the image from this morning showing the buy/sell zones.
Long @ 48.10 – Last @ 48.55 +44 cents or $440 per contract before fees

STOP ORDERS DO NOT NECESSARILY LIMIT YOUR LOSS TO THE STOP PRICE BECAUSE STOP ORDERS, IF THE PRICE IS HIT, BECOME MARKET ORDERS AND, DEPENDING ON MARKET CONDITIONS, THE ACTUAL FILL PRICE CAN BE DIFFERENT FROM THE STOP PRICE. IF A MARKET REACHED ITS DAILY PRICE FLUCTUATION LIMIT, A "LIMIT MOVE", IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE TO EXECUTE A STOP LOSS ORDER.
THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING COMMODITY FUTURES AND OPTIONS CONTRACTS CAN BE SUBSTANTIAL. THERE IS A HIGH DEGREE OF LEVERAGE IN FUTURES TRADING BECAUSE OF SMALL MARGIN REQUIREMENTS. THIS LEVERAGE CAN WORK AGAINST YOU AS WELL AS FOR YOU AND CAN LEAD TO LARGE LOSSES AS WELL AS LARGE GAINS.
