Published 3/17/16 9:41 am central – Notification of entry and target area (Visit Blog for Entry write up – MDA BLOG PAGE: HERE.)
We were filled on our long position @ 2015.00. Rallied to 2019.25 after the open and then got some selling pressure coming in and giving those another chance to play the level. We are currently challenging the 2020.00 level. As I pointed out this morning the 2025.00 is a target area I would like to see if we test and take some potential profits.
If you are trading multiple positions you could look to take some partial profits just before that at these levels and look to move your risk to break even.
Long @ 2015.00
Last @ 2020.00 (+5.00 or +$250 before fees).
Published 3/17/16 10:42 am central – Target Price hit. Chart showing Trade
I just wanted to provide a quick update and confirmation that the 2025.00 price target highlighted this morning was hit and traded through with the most recent high @ 2025.75. If you were able to take advantage of this setup with a buy @ 2015.00 and a sell @ 2025.00 this was a 10.00 pt or $500+ profit each contract before fees. I confirmations on this trade was that we saw the bulls still in control on the Market Action Scanner and the SP Odometer showed that all time frames on the cash stock side were bullish as well. Big picture, the ES is moving toward the weekly POC @ 2046 so that would be my next target level for longer term bulls.
I encourage anybody following along with these emails or updates to start using the tools I use. I highlight the E-Mini S&P because that is really all I have time for in the morning for this type of update, but I really use this same approach for all markets and can quickly scan what markets are making moves and then use the charts to confirm buy/sell zones to follow the momentum. These tools will open the door to many more markets you may not normally watch. If you are a client working with me. We can talk on the phone to confirm levels and create a plan each day. This is a service I offer exclusively to the Market Dimension Advisory members. There is more to come on what I will be offering through the MDA service as well. I will keep everybody updated on the new updates in the not too distant future.
Here is the updated chart showing the trade.

STOP ORDERS DO NOT NECESSARILY LIMIT YOUR LOSS TO THE STOP PRICE BECAUSE STOP ORDERS, IF THE PRICE IS HIT, BECOME MARKET ORDERS AND, DEPENDING ON MARKET CONDITIONS, THE ACTUAL FILL PRICE CAN BE DIFFERENT FROM THE STOP PRICE. IF A MARKET REACHED ITS DAILY PRICE FLUCTUATION LIMIT, A "LIMIT MOVE", IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE TO EXECUTE A STOP LOSS ORDER.
THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING COMMODITY FUTURES AND OPTIONS CONTRACTS CAN BE SUBSTANTIAL. THERE IS A HIGH DEGREE OF LEVERAGE IN FUTURES TRADING BECAUSE OF SMALL MARGIN REQUIREMENTS. THIS LEVERAGE CAN WORK AGAINST YOU AS WELL AS FOR YOU AND CAN LEAD TO LARGE LOSSES AS WELL AS LARGE GAINS.
