In September of 2007 I told my consulting clients to sell all of their equity investments and move to cash. In January of 2008, I predicted the Dow would drop to 8500 by the end of the year. I told my clients to take out a yellow sticky note and mark the date and the words "Dow 8500". On October 9, 2008 the Dow touched 8579. On October 22, 2008 I predicted that the Dow would hit 6500. On March 6, 2009 the Dow made a low of 6470. I have told my subscribers that we may well see Dow 4500 before this recession/depression is over.
