Tim Carey

Tim Carey

Tim Carey is Associate Company Counsel at Daniels Trading. Mr. Carey advises the company on legal and compliance related matters, and represents Daniels Trading in all legal matters. Mr. Carey is an invaluable asset as Daniels Trading expands its presence online and throughout the marketplace.

Tim graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2004 with a degree in English. He graduated from Drake Law School in 2009. During his time at Drake Law School, Mr. Carey clerked at the U.S. Attorney's Office and also prosecuted bench and jury trials for Polk County as a student-attorney. Tim has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 2009. After working at an insurance defense firm in the Chicago suburbs, Tim left to do contract work for Dewey and LeBoeuff, LLC in their preparation for a CFTC investigation of crude oil traders accused of manipulating crude markets.

Amongst other interests, Mr. Carey enjoys marathon training, contributing his time and efforts to the Ronald McDonald Charity House Auxilary Board, and playing on multiple city rec basketball teams throughout the year.
