Industry background:
I’ve been assisting clients in the commodity markets for over 12 years. I began my career at Lind-Waldock as a Senior Market Strategist in the Lind Plus division. Why did I move? When the Lind Waldock/Refco relationship blew up, many of my clients didn’t feel comfortable so I left in favor of my client’s needs. In the past I’ve done webinars, commentary for Reuters and other media outlets and appeared on a British Business Television program.
Market focus:
My primary focus is on the financials: metals, currencies, indices, interest rates, and energies. Grains and Softs are second. Basically, I prefer to avoid thinly traded markets.
Trading strategies:
I analyze the markets using technical indicators. I look at daily and weekly charts, moving averages, stochastic, RSI and intraday charts to create buy and sell points. Money management is important to me so I do recommend stop losses and/or options as an alternative to manage risk. It is not about the number of times you’re right or wrong, to me it is about the risk versus reward.
